The Mitsubishi Mr. Slim SVZ Series Multi-Position Air Handler is a full-home ducted indoor unit designed to work as the primary air handler in a Mitsubishi multi-zone system. Unlike individual zone indoor units, the SVZ serves your entire home's duct network — delivering heating and cooling through your existing or new forced-air ductwork just like a conventional furnace fan coil, but powered by the efficiency of a Mitsubishi inverter heat pump. Installs in multiple orientations — upflow, downflow, or horizontal — to fit your mechanical room configuration. Available in 12,000 to 36,000 BTU. This page is for the indoor unit and installation only. A compatible outdoor unit must be purchased separately. Only one SVZ unit can be connected per MXZ outdoor unit. A controller is also required and is not included. Price includes up to 20 ft of lineset with standard professional installation.
