Heat pump grants and rebates in Ontario have changed a lot since 2023. The Canada Greener Homes Grant and the old Enbridge HER+ rebate are gone, and new programs have taken their place. This page shows what is open now, what has ended, and how Bison Air takes care of the paperwork for you.

Heat pumps must be on Natural Resources Canada's qualified products list. Boilers, furnaces and air conditioners do not qualify for these rebates. Program rules and amounts change; the program administrators make the final decision.

Which Heat Pump System Qualifies?
Rebates are paid on cold-climate air-source heat pumps. Even the best cold-climate unit needs backup heat for the coldest nights, so most systems fall into one of these options:
Hybrid system
