What Is a Rooftop HVAC Unit?
A rooftop unit (RTU) is a packaged heating and cooling system installed on the roof. Everything is in one cabinet and conditioned air is delivered to the space through ductwork. Because the equipment sits on the roof, it frees up floor space and is easy to reach for maintenance.

2. Curb and roof check
We confirm the new unit fits the existing curb or plan a curb adapter or new curb.
3. Crane and shutdown plan
We book the crane and set a shutdown time that works for your tenants.
4. Removal and set
The old unit comes off, the new unit is lifted and set on the curb.
5. Connections
Gas, electrical, controls and duct connections.
6. Startup and commissioning
Startup, testing and a walkthrough of the new system.
