📏 Sizing a Tankless Water Heater
A tankless unit is sized by flow (how many litres or gallons per minute you use at once) and by how much it has to raise the water temperature. In the GTA winter, the water coming into your home is very cold, so the unit works hardest in January. A household running two showers and a dishwasher at the same time needs a larger unit than a couple with one bathroom. We size it to your fixtures and your winter water temperature.
Gas Line and Venting
- ✓ Larger tankless units can draw up to 199,000 BTU, far more than a tank. Many homes need a bigger gas line from the meter; we check and size it. See gas line installation

🧽 Maintenance
GTA water is hard, and scale builds up inside the heat exchanger. We install isolation valves on every unit so it can be flushed. We recommend flushing once a year, or more often if your water is very hard. Book a water heater service.
