The Mitsubishi Mr. Slim SLZ Series 4-Way Ceiling Cassette delivers 360° airflow distribution from a single flush-mounted ceiling unit — the cleanest, most even heat pump solution available for open-concept rooms, commercial spaces, and any application where appearance and airflow coverage matter. Installed flush with the finished ceiling with only the decorative grille visible, the SLZ circulates conditioned air in four directions simultaneously for consistent comfort across the entire room. Available in 8,400 to 17,700 BTU. This page is for the indoor unit and installation only. A compatible outdoor unit must be purchased separately. A controller is also required and is not included. Decorative grille (SLP-18FAEU) and up to 20 ft of lineset are included with standard professional installation.
This page covers the SLZ Series indoor cassette unit and its installation only. To complete your system you also need:
- A compatible MXZ outdoor unit — MXZ Standard or MXZ Hyper Heat series (sold separately). Note: SLZ units connect directly to MXZ outdoor units only — not compatible with PUMY branch box configurations
- A controller — SLZ units do not include a remote controller. A wired controller must be ordered separately — see options below
