The AprilAire 600 is a large bypass whole-house evaporative humidifier that mounts on your furnace ductwork and adds up to 17 gallons of moisture per day to the air moving through your home. Its automatic digital control (AprilAire Model 60) holds the humidity level you set, so you get less static, less dry skin and fewer gaps in hardwood floors through an Ontario winter. Standard installation by Bison Air is included across Toronto and the GTA.

📏 Is the 600 the Right Size?
| Home construction | AprilAire 500 (12 GPD) | AprilAire 600 (17 GPD) |
|---|---|---|
| Tight (newer, well sealed) | up to ~3,500 sq ft | up to ~5,000 sq ft |
| Average | up to ~1,750 sq ft | up to ~2,500 sq ft |
| Loose (older, drafty) | up to ~1,150 sq ft | up to ~1,650 sq ft |
Approximate coverage worked out from AprilAire's sizing table (16.7 gallons per day for 5,000 sq ft tight, 33.4 average, 50.1 loose). Older, leakier homes need much more moisture. If your home is smaller or tightly built, the AprilAire 500 may be all you need. We confirm sizing at the free consultation.
