The Bosch Climate 5000 Single Zone 4-Way Cassette Heat Pump delivers efficient year-round heating and cooling from a ceiling-recessed indoor unit that distributes conditioned air equally in all four directions. Mounted flush inside a dropped ceiling grid, the 4-way cassette is the ideal choice for conditioning square or open-plan spaces from a single central ceiling point — offices, retail areas, open-concept residential floors, meeting rooms, and commercial spaces where even air distribution across the entire room is essential.
Available in sizes from 9,000 to 48,000 BTU and running on next-generation R454B refrigerant, this system delivers reliable heating down to -25°C (-13°F) with up to 22 SEER2 cooling efficiency and 8.8 HSPF2 heating efficiency.
Standard installation by Bison Air's licensed HVAC technicians is included with every purchase.

What Is a 4-Way Cassette Heat Pump?
A 4-way cassette is a ceiling-recessed indoor unit that mounts flush inside a dropped ceiling tile grid and distributes conditioned air simultaneously through four discharge outlets — one on each side of the unit — providing even, 360° airflow coverage across the entire room from a single central ceiling point.
Compared to other indoor unit types in the Bosch Climate 5000 lineup:
- The wall-mount IDU mounts visibly on an interior wall, discharges air in one direction — no ceiling work required
- The ducted IDU is fully concealed above the ceiling, distributes air through duct runs and grilles
- The 1-way cassette IDU is ceiling-recessed, discharges air in one controlled direction only
- The 4-way cassette IDU is ceiling-recessed and discharges air equally in all four directions — best for central coverage of square or open-plan spaces
The 4-way cassette is the right choice when you need even air distribution across an entire open space from a single ceiling-mounted unit — particularly for retail floors, office open plans, meeting rooms, and large residential open-concept areas.

This is a complete single zone heat pump system consisting of one outdoor condenser unit (ODU) and one ceiling-recessed 4-way cassette indoor unit (IDU), connected by a refrigerant line set.
