The Panasonic INTERIOS all-electric system pairs a cold-climate inverter heat pump with a matched Panasonic air handler, so one ducted system heats and cools the whole home with no gas. It runs on R454B refrigerant, keeps heating down to −30 °C (−22 °F), and is ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate certified. It suits a full HVAC replacement, a new build, or a home moving off gas. The 5-ton system pairs the 5-ton CS-HM60BAHU air handler with the CU-HM55BAHU outdoor unit, Panasonic's largest cold-climate INTERIOS outdoor unit (rated 54,000 BTU/h cooling, 56,000 BTU/h heating).
