The Mitsubishi Mr. Slim JX Series is the only wall mount heat pump in the Mr. Slim lineup that runs on a standard 115V household outlet — no dedicated 240V circuit, no electrical panel upgrade required in most homes. Powered by next-generation R-454B low-GWP refrigerant and an inverter-driven compressor, the JX Series delivers efficient year-round heating and cooling with heating operation down to -25°C (-14°F). Available in 9,000 and 12,000 BTU. All prices include standard professional installation with up to 20 ft of lineset.

The 115V Advantage — Why This Matters

Every other ductless heat pump on the market — including the Mitsubishi GX and FX Series — requires a dedicated 208-230V circuit and in many cases an electrical panel upgrade. The JX Series is different:

• Plugs into a standard 15A or 20A household circuit — the same circuit type used for appliances and outlets throughout your home
• No panel upgrade required in most homes — saving $800–$2,500+ in electrical costs

Indoor Unit Dimensions

Both the 9K and 12K BTU JX Series share the same compact indoor cabinet.

Minimum clearances required: 4" on sides, 14" below unit, 4" above unit. Always refer to installation manual for complete requirements.

Recommended Room Size by BTU

Room sizing is a guideline. Actual requirements depend on insulation, ceiling height, windows, and local climate. Contact Bison Air for a proper load calculation.
