The Bosch Climate 5000 Single Zone Ducted Heat Pump delivers the efficiency and reliability of the Bosch Climate 5000 platform in a concealed ducted format — no visible indoor unit on your wall. The indoor air handler is installed inside a ceiling, attic space, or mechanical room and distributes conditioned air through short duct runs, making it ideal for applications where a wall-mount unit is not practical or preferred.
Available in sizes from 9,000 to 60,000 BTU, this system covers everything from a single bedroom to a large open-concept commercial space. Running on next-generation R454B refrigerant, it delivers reliable heating down to -25°C (-13°F) and efficient cooling through the hottest GTA summers.
Standard installation by Bison Air's licensed HVAC technicians is included with every purchase.

Ducted vs Wall-Mount – Which Is Right for You?
Both systems use the same Bosch Climate 5000 outdoor condenser platform. The difference is entirely in the indoor unit (IDU):
- The wall-mount IDU is visible on the interior wall and conditions the room directly — no ductwork required
- The ducted IDU is concealed inside a ceiling cavity, attic, or mechanical room and distributes air through short duct runs — no visible indoor equipment in the living space
The ducted system is the right choice when:
- You want a completely clean, uninterrupted interior — no wall units visible in any room
- You are installing in a space where a wall-mount unit cannot be positioned correctly
- You have or plan to install short duct runs to distribute air to multiple grilles in one zone
- You are working on a new construction or major renovation where concealed systems are preferred

What's Included – System Components
This is a complete single zone ducted heat pump system consisting of one outdoor condenser unit (ODU) and one concealed ducted indoor air handler unit (IDU), connected by a refrigerant line set.
- Outdoor Condenser Unit (ODU) — the main heat pump unit installed on an exterior wall bracket or ground pad outside your home or building
- Ducted Indoor Air Handler (IDU) — the concealed unit installed inside a ceiling cavity, attic, or mechanical room, connecting to short duct runs and grilles
- Refrigerant line set connecting both units (standard length included with installation)
- Full system commissioning and testing by Bison Air's licensed technicians
